Good day to all lovely souls out there!
It has been weeks since the first part of this post and without further adieu, we are sharing another three more photos taken when Lovable Mum was visiting the Gardens by The Bay in year 2013:
Hope you lovely souls out there enjoy reading this post!
Have a beautiful and wonderful weekend ahead, always!
Cheers & TTFN ~ 😀
As some of you lovely souls have already knew, Mr. Kerby has finally gone back to his owner after staying with us for the past six months.
Already missing him but what matters most is that he is now happily sleeping in his own bed and playing with all his ten toys at home.
No more Kerby’s photos…so what will I be posting today?
Have you lovely souls already guessed it?
Aww…so lovely and clever too!!
Two weeks ago, I’ve gotten a chance to accompany Lovable Mom to her usual flower shopping since her friend, who usually drives her to the flower wholesale center had something on during that day.
It was my first visit there and there were a lot of walking to do especially during the return trip if you aren’t driving and we had to walk for about 20 minutes while carrying two bunches of flowers (if you are familiar with flower arranging, you ought to know that flowers aren’t really as light as we think they are) before reaching the bus stop.
When we finally reached the bus stop, while I was busy catching my breath, something caught my attention.
Hello Mr. Tree(s)!!
I spotted some beautiful trees and with my left hand holding two bunches of flowers
(ignoring the are-you-trying-to-damage-my-flowers glare from Lovable Mom), I quickly took the following photos with my trying-to-stay-steady right hand and mobile phone so that I can share these beauties with you lovely souls out there:
Never cut a tree down in the wintertime.
Never make a negative decision in the low time.
Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods.
The storm will pass.
The spring will come.
Robert H. Schuller
A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds.
A good deed is never lost;
He who sows courtesy reaps friendship,
And he who plants kindness gathers love.
I do hope all you lovely souls are enjoying our three Mr. Tree as much as I did and still do.
Have a wonderful day ahead, always!

Yesterday, Kerby’s owners brought him to the pet groomer.
He returned after a few hours with all his nails trimmed so now he can jump down from the sofa without the fear of loosing his grip during the landing
Unfortunately, we think the length of his fur were being trimmed way way too short!!!
So short that he was practically shivering at times and his tummy would turn cold whenever he lies down with it facing the floor.
He didn’t have this problem in the past…his tummy is always warm and cuddly…
…. (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻….
Noticed him trembling in his sleep again last night, something that hasn’t happen for quite some time already.
He is definitely feeling cold.
That’s our conclusion.
The problem is…
He doesn’t like sleeping on fabrics.
WE DECIDED TO TRY IT ANYWAY.
We’ve prepared a blanket for him but it has become his new biting toy instead of being a sleeping mat.
We placed it near his sleeping area last night but he decided to sleep on the floor instead.
Today, we keep nagging him to try sleeping on the blanket instead of the floor
He started giving us his infamous…Grrrrr…..
Later in the evening, he decided to place his head on the blanket but with his body still on the floor.
Tonight, we’ve decided to place the blanket on his favourite sleeping spot and when I went to check him out before taking a quick bath, he was sleeping beside the blanket instead.
I decided to try my luck with him again and said,
“Kerby, later in the night if you are really feeling cold, please…please sleep on this blanket, okie??”
He just stared at me as I gave him a gentle pat on his
almost bald head.
After my quick shower, I went to check him out again and this is what I saw
ヽ(´ー｀)ノ THOUGH THEY CAN’T TALK, THEY DO UNDERSTAND!! ヽ(´ー｀)ノ
“Happiness is a warm puppy.”
~ Charles M. Schulz
Thank you Charles M. Schulz for this quote…that’s my happiness for today!!
Have a happy Monday ahead, always!

CHEERS & TTFN~ 😀
Just this morning, while I was drafting the post for our other blog, I heard a loud bark, then a loud whining sound and followed by a call of distress from Lovable Mom.
At first, I thought something has happened to the dog…but I was wrong.
Unfortunately, since the panic attack which I’ve encountered during last Friday, Lovable Mum has fallen victim to Kerby’s bone-crunching bites!
Kerby bit me because I’ve tried to clear away some dirt around his eyes, in which he is very sensitive about. Thus, setting aside the pain, it seems that Lovable Mum was more in a state of shock during the attack because Kerby simply just decided to bite her when she just stroke him gently (as per usual) while watching some programs on the television.
Well, at least this little creature looked a little apologetic when Lovable Mum showed him her bandage. His apology was accepted and guess what? Lovable Mum decided to cook him a bowl of OATMEAL (with hard boiled egg) for breakfast!!
He gobbled it up as if it was the most delicious meal in the world…LOL…
PS: If you’ve just joined us and wonder why the word oatmeal is in CAPS and BOLD, do click HERE to find out.
The above are those two bites ‘bestowed’ me . They may look small, but the pain is not as small as they look…LOL…and here’s his reaction when I showed him my bandages last week:
(⇀‸↼‶) Perhaps, I will need to sing this song to him…(⇀‸↼‶)
A series of unfortunate events for us
But we’re glad to be able to share with you lovely souls out there in such a fun manner
SO, HERE’S A BIG CHEERS TO
（ ^_^）o自自o（^_^ ） KERBY’S PANIC ATTACKS!! （ ^_^）o自自o（^_^ ）
Have fun reading!
Cheers & TTFN~ 😀
One fine day, while we were watching TV, Lovable Mum expressed out her latest worry:
ʘ‿ʘ Many people have been taking photos of my flowers recently and giving me compliments. ʘ‿ʘ
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Isn’t it a good thing? People are appreciating your creations. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
ಠ_ಠ I am feeling a little overwhelmed and worried. ಠ_ಠ
¯\_(⊙︿⊙)_/¯ Worry? About what? ¯\_(⊙︿⊙)_/¯
¿ⓧ_ⓧﮌ Getting too much compliments isn’t something great, It might somehow affect me negatively. ¿ⓧ_ⓧﮌ
（ ﾟДﾟ） Ahhh….quite true.（ ﾟДﾟ）
¯\_(⊙︿⊙)_/¯ What should I do then?¯\_(⊙︿⊙)_/¯
Just remain humble and move on.
I totally understand her concern but just like what Shania Twain once said:
“If my clothing does stand out, then I guess it’s a compliment, but I just wear whatever feels comfortable.”
Ever since Lovable Mum started out with her flower arrangement hobby, it added something into her life — a mission and a goal — and she is currently one of the fixed personnels in taking care of the flower arrangements in all our three H.Q.s
As her daughter and her NO.1-FAN, I feel happy to know that more people are acknowledging her skills and creativity; and perhaps this is a great opportunity for her to further polish/cultivate her humbleness at this stage of her life.
The true way to be humble is not to stoop until you are smaller than yourself,
But to stand at your real height against some higher nature that will show you
What the real smallness of your greatness is.
~ Phillips Brooks
Just last Friday while we were at one of our H.Q.s, a friend asked me to take some photos of Lovable Mum’s latest arrangements which she made during the day before and e-mail them to her.
Hmmm….now, that’s a little creepy…but I guess these are just some carrots and sticks that life throws us at time.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Since I’ve those photos in my phone, might as well share with you lovely souls:
Have a lovely Friday and a wonderful weekend ahead, always!
Cheers & TTFN~ 😀
When Lovable Mum started learning flower arrangement during many many years ago, our lives are being constantly surrounded by flowers.
Refreshing and lovely when they were first brought back, like all new born babies.
Beautiful and elegant when they were displayed in vases, like all energetic young souls.
Just like all things in life coming to an end, their withering process begins…
In this installment of Lovable Mum’s Flowers, I’ve deliberately taken the flowers at their initial and withering stages for they always reminded me to live my life to the fullest, no matter how long or short it would be.
Life is a constant withering of possibilities
Some are stolen with the lives of people you love
Others are let go, with regret and reluctance and deep, deep sorrow
But there is compensation for lives un-lived in the intoxicating joy of knowing that the life you have
Right here, right now
If the one you have chosen
There is power in that, and hope
~ Emily Maguire, Taming the Beast
How many withering flowers have you spotted?
If you cannot spot them, perhaps it also prove that their existence is beautiful despite they are withering. 😀
Have a lovely Monday!
Cheers & TTFN~ 😀
Today, Lovable Mum brought back some left-over flowers and I decided to share with you lovely souls because the colour contrast of today’s arrangement has brought a smile on my face:
Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful;
they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.
~ Luther Burbank
As I was going through the gallery of my mobile phone, I’ve found a few more photos of her arrangements that I’ve taken at one of our HQs during a few weeks ago:
Flowers are restful to look at.
They have neither emotions nor conflicts.
~ Sigmund Freud
A F.A.Q by Lovable Mum’s Friend(s):
Oh! You must be good at flower arrangement as well since you’ve a mother who’s good at it.
Nah! I am only good at looking…
That’s my STANDARD answer whenever I get that F.A.Q whereas Baby Sis would just smile. Since Bro is a guy, all I can say is…he is lucky.
Will I start learning flower arrangement so that I can conveniently fulfill their assumption?
” Nah…I still prefer looking…LOL…”
Perhaps from time to time, if I happened to come across some arrangements that would pin a smile on my face, I will share them with you lovely souls.
However, if you would love to see more of Lovable Mum’s arrangements in the future, do let us know, okay?
Have a great Thursday ahead!
Cheers & TTFN~
