When I logged into our blog this morning, the first thing was to click the result of our latest poll…I SEE PERCENTAGE!! 😀
Thank you very much for taking part! Muahkkk~
From the current result, it seems that more people prefer a mixture of nail art decoration, if you’ve just stumbled upon this humble blog of ours, please spare a few seconds of your time to let us know what you preferred by taking part in the polls as well.
Yesterday, I’ve spent the entire day trying to figure out how to present our nail art decorations in our website and after several trials and errors, I’ve decided upon the format which you can see in our Fimo Collections – Fruit Fimo.
Therefore, in order to motivate myself, I’ve decided to revamp our fimo collections and try to categorize them in term of their types e.g. fruits, dragonfly etc.
Also, I’ve included the selling price for each packet and this is also be the price that we will be selling at our online store. If you are interested in any of the designs, just e-mail us your inquiry, okay?
Okay, I’ve got to continue with other work; in the meantime, do continue to be with us.
It is Monday again and I’ve spent the entire day taking pictures and repacking (for the 3rd time) our fashion accessories.
Initially, I wanted to replace all the label cards but then again, to save the earth (hmm…also to minimize the cost), I decided to reform them instead. The result is quite satisfying but there is still room for improvement.
I’ve updated our Fimo Collections page with the fruit slices and cane pictures that I’ve taken when I first received them, that is why I name this post “Fruit Paradise”.
As I considered them as my virgin designs, I couldn’t bear to delete them from my computer while I was doing my routine picture housekeeping. They kind of bring back those sweet and bitter memories…
Hope you all will enjoy them.
Finally, I’ve managed to upload the last few designs (at the moment) for our feather cut fimos. You can view them at our blog pages.
Our thin-cut fimo slice catalogue is ready for upload. Yeah!!!
Basically, the difference between a feather cut fimo and thin cut fimo is only their thickness. If you prefer your fimo slice to be as thin as possible, you should choose a feather cut fimo. However, to give your nail art a slightly 3-D effect, you can choose a thin-cut fimo or even a thicker fimo which is between 0.5 and 1mm.
Although the difference may seem oblivous by just looking at the fimo slice itself, it will be very obvious after you’ve put them onto your nails. This is also a reason more time was needed when I was doing the sorting and differentiating them as according to their thickness (Phew~).
I’ve really learnt quite a lot from doing all those cutting and sorting.
Okay, since there is only one colour at the moment, which is GREEN…(This explains the title of this blog)…I will upload it in this post and set up a new page for this section after I’ve completed more colours.
Btw, what colours do you want to see next? Let me know?
In the meantime, Let’s Go Green then…
Our thin-cut fimo are now available in our shop at qoo10.com.sg
Tomorrow I will be accompanying my mother to a flower exhibition since I need to help her with all the photo taking. Maybe…just maybe…I might get some inspirations from those flowers? Who knows?
Okay, I am really glad to be able to post 2 entries today ^_^ and I sincerely hope all of you will enjoy reading them.
As I was checking the poll for the preferred fimo designs, I noticed that nobody selects “fruit”. So, I took the liberty to search for some fruit nail arts from the Pinterest and found some designs to share with you all. These designs belonged to their respective creators and hopefully I am able to upload another nail design using fruits fimo done by myself. Also, I’ve found some fashion accesories (from Pinterest) made out of fruit fimo and they are super cool! How I wish I can create those nice accessories in the near future..tsk…tsk…so many things to learn, so many things to practise, so many things to do….gosh…anyway, here’s the picture of the compliation and yes, they all belonged to their respective creator(s) (whom I really envy… ^_^).
If you like to read more of these compliation on other fimo nail designs, do let me know.
Last but not least, I decided to organise a giveaway event for our fruit fimo slices. I know we can easily purchase any fruit fimo canes on websites and they are really nothing new. However, as I have mentioned in one of the previous posts, all the fimo slices are cut, sorted, packed with all my heart, hoping to see more smiles than frowns on the faces of all our valued customers.
As a matter of fact, my sister told not to continue with this fimo merchandise and to concentrate on other nail art decorations instead since it is really an effort and time consuming task. But…but…I really do enjoy the entire process and whenever I would feel good whenever I am able to update my fimo catalogue.
There is a saying “No pain, No gain” right?
So, is the fruit fimo giveaway a good idea? Do let me know. If the response is positive, I shall save some of our fruit fimo slices (feather cut, thin cut and thick cut) for the giveaway and hopefully those who will receive the fimo slices are able to do a design and e-mail them to me so that I can upload them in the blog.
Well, let me know okay?
Here are the coming updates for the next few posts:
- The last 12 designs for the feather cut fimo are finally ready and I am now doing the sorting and packing for the thin cut fimo. Since most designs for thin cut fimo are a repetitive of the the feather cut, I decided to sort them out in term of their colours so as to present you all with different views/perspective. Currently I’ve finished sorting out the green ones and will upload them together with the last 12 feather cut designs. If possible, I will try to sort and pack another colour, hopefully to upload them together.
- I’ve done another nail art design using two type of blue colours and 1 thick-cut fimo during last week. Will upload the design up soon.
- Possible fruit fimo giveaway? It is entirely up to you all to decide, so let me know whether it is feasible by leaving a comment for this post. Thank you in advance!!
In the meantime, do enjoy the pictures !!
