Just this morning, while I was drafting the post for our other blog, I heard a loud bark, then a loud whining sound and followed by a call of distress from Lovable Mom.
At first, I thought something has happened to the dog…but I was wrong.
Unfortunately, since the panic attack which I’ve encountered during last Friday, Lovable Mum has fallen victim to Kerby’s bone-crunching bites!
Kerby bit me because I’ve tried to clear away some dirt around his eyes, in which he is very sensitive about. Thus, setting aside the pain, it seems that Lovable Mum was more in a state of shock during the attack because Kerby simply just decided to bite her when she just stroke him gently (as per usual) while watching some programs on the television.
Well, at least this little creature looked a little apologetic when Lovable Mum showed him her bandage. His apology was accepted and guess what? Lovable Mum decided to cook him a bowl of OATMEAL (with hard boiled egg) for breakfast!!
He gobbled it up as if it was the most delicious meal in the world…LOL…

The above are those two bites ‘bestowed’ me . They may look small, but the pain is not as small as they look…LOL…and here’s his reaction when I showed him my bandages last week:

Yes…we seriously need Cesar Milan…but luckily we’ve been watching that show before he joins us…so we are still able to deal with him…
It takes time because he is a little sick (I hope it is just UTI and not a gall stone) and we are planning to take him to a vet since his owner has problem and needs to deal with her own health issues…
Just hope Kerby and his owner is able to overcome their crisis…
Poor you and your mum. Little Kerby needs a lot of tender loving care… Luckily he has the both of you!
He is actually a very restless dog and his health isn’t too good as well…we’re trying our best to help him come out of the shadow…as for his health…may have to bring him to a vet in a few days time…still monitoring his conditions….
I just hope he is well and happy (so is his owner)

He is getting a little less paranoid when compared to the first week with us…now, he would always demand us to play with him (using his food or his favourite towel…LOL)…

Yes, we are still monitoring him and tried to get him drink more water since my sister’s friend told her that Shitzu might get some blood in their urine when they are inside a new environment (I do hope it is the case).
Well, he is still a little paranoid at times but managed to get a good and relax sleep for the past few days…and we are still monitoring his urine…LOL…
Yeah…the pain still prevails even while I am typing…hehe…

Kerby is slowly accustomed to us and even demanded us to carry them (especially during rainy days…LOL) at times…I am not sure if I am able to give him back to his owners when they are coming for him…LOL…

LOL…and the bone still hurts now…and whenever I show him the finger, he would just ‘Grrr….’…LOL…very entertaining though…
He is feeling much at home now and that’s what I am hopeful for…and we’ve been monitoring his urine (hmmm…like he is the emperor of the household) and it seems to be getting better…

I’ll freak out after 2 incidents.
LOL…I’ve just gotten my third one last week…but it was a worthwhile one for I managed to get that lump of dirt-ball off the corner of his eye…ヽ(´▽`)/YAYヽ(´▽`)/
