Today is D-day. Its last day of duty once the clock strikes midnight. The sad dragon decides to do some searching online and found some nice quotes to share:
The world is round and the place which may seem like the end may also be the beginning.~ Ivy Baker Priest
Its eyes soon become red and teary, but still it refuses to shed any tears.
Saying goodbye doesn’t mean anything. It’s the time we spent together that matters, not how we left it. ~ Trey Parker
A happy snake is getting ready for its duty once the clock strikes midnight. It spots the melancholy looking dragon and decides to say something nice in order to cheer its friend up:
Don’t cry because you’re leaving smile because you were here. ~ unknown
The sad dragon thanks the snake for being so sweet, but couldn’t help taking one last look at the above picture before letting out a deep, deep sigh.
Why does it take a minute to say hello and forever to say goodbye? I will miss you all, my lovable and delicious looking SNACKS!
With that, leaving behind a much speechless snake, the sad dragon flies away with the hope to reunite with its snacks in another 12 years time once the clock strikes midnight.
~ THE END~

Hi, Happy Year of the Snake to you!
I love your tale of the dragon, I felt quite sad for him! But he’ll be back! I really like the quote at the start, about the round world, I’m going to take a note of that.
Congrats on your 100th post, and it seems a coincidence that I’ve just read it because I’ve just written a post on 100 days after my knee surgery!
Best wishes, Lyn x
Hi Lyn,
